Michael Petruccelli

Michael is a freelance operatic tenor currently based in Melbourne, Australia. He has has recently made critically acclaimed appearances as Jason in Pinchgut Opera's production of Médée and as the Cartographer in the Australian premiere of Mary Finsterer's new opera Antarctica with Sydney Chamber Opera in the 2023 Sydney Festival.

 

Very recently he was awarded first prize in the 2023 Sydney International Song Prize through the Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Foundation.
